Here is our full unboxing, review, and test flight of the Cheerson CX-10 nano micro quadcopter. We recommend the CX-10 to beginners as it makes a great first drone. It is easy to control and can take it’s fair share of abuse.
The CX-10 is the small version of the Cheerson CX-20, in fact, it is the much smaller version. It is arguably the smallest consumer drone ever made. It also borders on being the among the cheapest drones for sale today.
There is something to be said about a sub-$20 drone that is fun to fly!
The controller, like the drone itself, is tiny. This helps when it comes to portability, but some might find it more difficult to use than higher end drone controllers. This most certainly is not a deal-breaker. In our opinion, this drone is worth many times it’s low price.
When it comes to the design of the Cheerson CX-10, it looks like any ordinary quadcopter, aside from the fact that it is tiny. It really is a work of art. A smooth plastic body encompasses the electronics within. After many flights, we found this to be an incredibly durable drone. If a propeller breaks, you can easily replace them with the spare propellers that come with the CX-10.
Flight Time and Battery
It is hard to imagine how a battery would even fit inside this little drone, but something has to be powering it! It uses a 3.7V 100mah battery that is charged with a USB charger. The battery lasts around 5 minutes and it takes about 15 minutes to charge.
Looking for a slightly bigger and faster drone? Consider the MJX X800.
